    Builders,
Well, the smaller the project the slower the work. Construction companies spread themselves thin and with small projects they only spend a few hours a day, a week or sometimes every 2 months at your site.
As the client, you have to be on them constantly asking when this or that is going to be done, talk talk talk to them. You may become an annoyance to them if you don’t bring them coffee, snacks, cookies at the break times or when every you get to meet the head guy.

Love that…Talk talk talk and bring them food. Only one thing you forgot – - cold beer works wonders for developing rapport. Not sure about safety but they will love you. Truth is hiring a great GC to over see things and not one that is connected to the trades. Someone independent and a bit of a drill Sargent to keep things on task and budget. Bottom line_______ the GC has to be more loyal to you than the trades.. Thanks Susanne! Do you know of any good builders or trades? Let me know and i’ll put them on the site.
