We are at the cabin and the power has gone out for the past 24 hours and we get to take care of our 1 year old in the dark. Cooking oatmeal and coffee on the fire outside, using nature’s facilities and keeping food on ice. Moments like these that are rare where life is a bit more work than normal. A struggle when modernity has left the building.

I’m not a huge football fan but I do love watching the game. Especially the games that matter…playoffs, bad weather or when an underdog is expected to win.
People often think first is better than second. Well not always in sales. It’s not always best to be the first choice or to be the first agent in the door. In fact you’re far better at times to be the second or third agent hired. This is because it allows the client to have tested the market, their expectations have been tested, marketing methods have been tested, the mystery has been removed and the reality is now revealed.
